How often should i have my garage door serviced?
Your garage door is the largest moving object on your home, and we recommend that the Door Maintenance information in your installation manual is performed on an annual basis.

How much will my installation or repair cost?
The garage door business is a very competitive one. We realize that our customers have many choices when selecting a garage door service company, and NGD offers the lowest price possible. While every job is different you can be sure that NGD will consistantly offer first-rate service at a reasonable price. Beware of ANY contractor that will quote you a price for a job they have not personally inspected!

Can i fix my door myself?
While some homeowners have the skill and tools to handle it themselves, we recommend that replacing springs, door sections, tracks and operators should be handled by a door professional.

What horsepower garage door opener do i need with my door?
Generally a 1/3 horsepower opener is sufficient for any single car doors and a 1/3 or 1/2 horsepower for some of the heavier double car doors.
